The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and

peaceful for being in the heart of the bustling old city of Istanbul. I appreciated the personal touch from the staff that made us feel welcome. Just keep in mind that the room walls can be thin, leading to occasional noise from neighbors.

I loved my time at Orkide in Istanbul. The Economy Double Room was cozy and clean. The terrace on the fifth floor offered a stunning sea view, perfect for unwinding with a drink. The staff was incredibly helpful with local navigation and answered all my questions. The clean linens and comfortable bed made for great nights of sleep. On the downside, I faced a musty smell in my room on the first night. Also, the lack of elevators made getting luggage up to my room challenging. Walking to the local attractions was easy, although getting taxis was a bit tricky. Overall, I would definitely stay here again due to the excellent service and atmosphere.

my stay at orkide exceeded my expectations this valentine's day. the location was close to the sea and just a 15-minute walk to the grand bazar. the room was big and clean, with fresh sheets and a little tea station.
